PURPOSE:To achieve effective utilization of the solar heat by a method wherein a flow switch is installed in a pool water circulating circuit so that when pool water is not circulated for any reason the heat collecting medium heated by the solar heat is allowed to flow from the pool water circulating circuit into a tap water heating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The water in a pool 8 is heated by circulating it, by driving a circulating pump 10, through a balancing tank 9, a filter 11, a heat exchanger 4 that uses as a heat source the heat collecting medium heated by a solar heat collector 1, and a pool water circulating circuit 14 passing through a heater 12 for additional heating use. By changing over the three-way valve 6, the heat collecting medium heated by the solar heat collector 1 flows into a heat exchanger 5 for heating water to thereby heat the water in a hot water reservoir 16 for supplying hot water through a heat exchange circuit 18. The resultant water is sent through a hot water circuit 19 into a shower 20 etc. A flow switch 21 is installed in the inlet of the heat exchanger 4. In case the circulating pump is malfunctioning or stopping, the output of the switch 21 is transmitted through a control relay 22 to the three-way valve 6 thereby switching the valve 6 to the tap water heating side. |
