PURPOSE:To enable minimizing of deviation in the center between a control panel and a control knob and to improve a quality, by a method wherein an engaging part having a sufficient size to match a recess for the control knob on the control panel is provided on the control knob for setting a motion of a control component. CONSTITUTION:A control knob consists of a grip part 7, having a pointer 8 therein, and a boss part 16 for engaging and holding a control shaft 14 of a controlling device, and the boss part 16 is provided with a slotted part 15 for adjusting a force to engage the operating shaft 14. A plurality of ribs 18 having the outer edge formed in a semicircle 19 are radially provided around the boss part 16. Said control knob is positioned in a recess part with a diameter D in the control panel 1, and the boss part 16 thereof is fitted in a hole 13 in the control panel 1 for mounting. In which case, the hole 13 is bored in a diameter A slightly larger than an outer diameter B of the rib 18, so that the outer peripheral surfaces of the several ribs 18, positioned at the upper side, of a pulrality of the ribs 18 are brought into contact with the inner surface of the hole 13. |
