<p>PURPOSE:To display a point in a three-dimensional graph, by inputting the desired point on a three-dimensional curved line or surface defined in a computer to an interactive graphic processing system which uses a two-dimensional graphic display. CONSTITUTION:A CPU12 generates and stores a graph of a curved line or surface by a tablet 2 or operator's commands. The tablete 2 is used to input current position coordinates X and Y of the cursor in response to an input request from the CPU12. A converter 15 converts two-dimensional data U and V supplied from the CPU12 into three-dimensional coordinates (x), (y), and (z) by a function and a curved-line signal from a signal line 16. A converter 17 converts the three-dimensional coordinate data (x), (y), and (z) from the CPU12 into coordinates x1 and y1 on a projection surface specified by the CPU12 through a signal line 18 and further converts them into coordinates x2 and y2 characteristic to a display 1 to display the points on a display 1. The converter 17 also generates plural coordinate points x2 and y2 where local echo marks are displayed to coordinate inputs from the converter 15, inputting them onto the curved line and curved surface.</p> |
