发明名称 LAMINATED OPTICAL CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform simultaneous alignment of optical axes for optical circuit elements by a method wherein a multiplicity of planar optical devices are integrated into a lamination and functional sections are also laminated for the formation of optical circuit elements. CONSTITUTION:A pair of devices 11a satisfying the purpose is selected out of a multiplicity of multi-function planar optical device 10. Optical axis alignment is then performed for the devices 10 and the devices 10 are stacked one upon the other in a prescribed order to be bonded together into a solid body, with the optical axis vertical to the plane of arrangement of functional sections 11. With the lamination constructed as such, integrated circuits are obtained, provided with optical circuit elements same in quantity and function as the two-dimension arrays. As the result, by adjusting the position of the planar optical devices relative to each other, optical axes may be simultaneously aligned for optical circuit elements arranged in array.
