PURPOSE:To detect the exchange of a toner pot easily and exactly by detecting the increase in the resistance of the conductive rubber by pressing in the bottom part of the toner pot and transmitting a detection signal for exchange. CONSTITUTION:When a cleaned and removed toner 12 accumulates in a toner pot 1 and the toner 12 therein attains a prescribed amt., pressurizing force is applied from the toner 12 to the conductive rubber 2 by pressing 2 provided in the bottom part of the pot 1 and the electric resistance of the rubber 2 increases sharply. Then, the resistance between electrodes 3a and 3b increases and the output of an operational amplifier 4 applied with a reference set voltage inverts to a high level to conduct a transistor 9 and to light an LED 10, whereby the exchange of the toner pot is detected easily and exactly. |
