PURPOSE:To enable a ventilating fan body to be positioned simply and securely in an opening of ceiling board when a transverse plate on the side of the fan body is connected through a mounting plate to a hanger on the side of the ceiling by a method wherein the transverse plate and the mounting plate have elongated holes formed therein in intersecting relationship with each other and the position of intersecting the elongated holes are changeable. CONSTITUTION:A transverse plate 3 is detachably fitted by means of bolts 18 and nuts 19 through a mounting plate 4 to a hanger 2 fixed to a ceiling wall 1. Further, the transverse plate 3 is connected to a ventilating fan body 5. The fan body 5 has a mounting leg 13 to which is fitted the fan body 5 housing an electric motor 12, a blade 14 and an orifice 15. The mounting plate 4 and the transverse plate 3 have elongated holes 21 and 22, respectively, formed in intersecting relationship. The arrangement is made such that the mounting position of the fan body 5 can be adjusted by changing the position of fixing the elongated holes 21 and 22. This arrangement enables positioning of the hanger 2 and an opening 20 formed in a ceiling board 9 to be made readily and securely thereby preventing a clearance from being formed between the inner periphery of the opening 20 and the fan body 5. |
