发明名称 HEAT ACCUMULATION TANK
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the heat accumulating and heat discharging properties of the titled tank by a method wherein a heat transfer medium is circulated through the heat accumulation tank having heat accumulating material sealed vessels arranged therein, at an accelerated speed from an inlet port toward an outlet port. CONSTITUTION:The heat accumulating vessels 7 having the heat accumulating material sealed therein are arranged within a heat accumulation tank 9 in a plurality of rows such that the spaces among the vessels 7 are made smaller gradually as the vessels 7 extend from the heat medium inlet port 6 toward the heat medium outlet port 10. As a consequence, the velocity of the heat medium 8 passing among the heat accumulating vessels 7 increases gradually in the order of 11 12 13. At the same time, the amount of heat exchange between the heat medium 8 and the heat accumulating vessels 7 is determined by the product of the temperature difference between the two and the heat transfer efficiency of the vessels 7 as a whole and the heat transfer efficiency increases in proportion to the increase of the flow velocity of the heat medium 8. Therefore, the above mentioned temperature difference reduces gradually from the flow passage 11 of the heat medium to the flow passage 13 thereof while the velocity of the heat medium is reversed whereby the amount of heat exchange throughout the flow passages 11-13 is equalized and the accumulation and discharge of heat by the heat accumulating vessels 7 are made uniformly to thereby improve the heat accumulating and heat discharge properties of the heat accumulation tank.
