PURPOSE:To reduce a debug work of memory access, by designating a specified address, and displaying a variation of contents of its memory address by a variation a color, luminance, or blinking frequency. CONSTITUTION:At the time of debug of a program, a prescribed address in a space 2 is designated from an input part 5. A control part 3 fetches contents of a memory corresponding to the designated address, from the memory space 2, stores them in a buffer memory 4, simultaneously, displays the designated address in turn on a display part 6, and displays it by a variation of a color (or luminance and blinking frequency are also available) in accordance with a degree of a variation of said contents. The control part 3 has refresh memories R<1>-RI for holding the color information of a display picture. Subsequently, the previous contents of the designated address are compared with the present contents, that is to say, the memory buffer 4 is compared with the memory space 2, and in case of dissidence, write is executed to the refresh memory R<1>. The more the memory contents are varied, the more a color of the display face is varied to red and white from black. |
