PURPOSE:To reduce the stress concentration by a method wherein grooves are formed in parallel with each internal electrode on side surfaces parallel to a lamination direction in a lamination type electrostrictive effect element. CONSTITUTION:Sheets wherein platinum paste is printed on one side surface of a film for electrostrictive material are laminated and compression-bonded in a plurality, and cut into a fixed shape. Next, it is sintered, thus external electrodes 3 are formed, and accordingly the laminated chip condenser type electrostrictive effect element is obtained. Then, the grooves are cut on the side surfaces paralle to the lamination direction of the electrostrictive effect element of this structure. Thereat, the external electrodes 3 divided by the grooves are connected by lead wires 4. Since a part of the periphery which does not take part in the deformation of the element has been removed, the stress does not concentrate. |
