PURPOSE:To increase the amount of displacement by a method wherein the outer peripheral shape of internal electrodes is equalized to the section vertical to the lamination direction of an element in the lamination type electrostrictive effect element. CONSTITUTION:The electrostrictive effect element is constituted by laminating electrostrictive materials 21 and the platinum internal electrodes 22 alternately. The shape of the internal electrodes 22 is equal to the section of this electrostrictive element. Each of internal electrodes exposed on the side surface of the element is electrically connected by soldering external lead wires 23 at intervals of a layer, and thus electrodes A and B are taken out. When formed in this manner, the amount of displacement is made large at the same intensity of electric field, and the life time is elongated. |
