PURPOSE:To obtain a large strain effect by impressing low voltage and improve the adhesion property by a method wherein internal electrode plates interposed between films of electrostrictive material are formed by mixing glass powder, and laminated by being interposed between each of many films of electrostrictive material. CONSTITUTION:The films of electrostrictive material or thin plates 1 and the internal electrodes 2 and 2' are formed by lamination into a form of a laminated chip condenser. The internal electrode plates 2 and 2' are formed of metallic films mixed with glass powder of 10% or less by weight. By the mixture of the glass powder, there is the effect that the adhesion strength between the internal electrode plates 2 and 2' and the films of electrostrictive material or thin plates 1 remarkably increases, and therefore the element is not broken down mechanically even in long time drive with large amplitudes. |
