PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of eddy flows, by connecting a discharge part and a blower by means of smooth formed wind tunnels. CONSTITUTION:Laser light is taken out from the discharge part 2 with a built-in discharge electrode, etc. Thereat, the gas used as a laser medium is to circulate through a sealing system constituted of the wind tunnels 8 and 9 and the blower 5. The wind tunnels 8 and 9 are formed in analogy to rectangular hollow truncated pyramids in the neighborhood of the discharge part 2, then present a hollow cylindrical form in the neighborhood of the blower 5, and accordingly both of these forms vary in continuity on the way resulting in the formation of the structure. In this form, the sealed gas circulates efficiently without generating eddy flows. |
