<p>Multiple Roller Bogey Assembly An undercarriage for a track-type vehicle having a frame, a first link with first and second portions and an intermediate pivot portion, the first link being pivotally connected to the frame; a second link with first and second portions and an intermediate pivot portion at which said second link is pivotally attached to said frame, said second link second portion and said first link first portion being adjacent and movable each in response to the other; a first wheel connected to the first link second portion; a second wheel connected to the second link first portion; and, a third wheel connected to the second link second portion. This development provides a resilient bogey system in which load sharing occurs between adjacent rollers or adjacent roller assemblies. This development further provides an undercarriage having an odd number of rollers, the odd roller being resiliently connected to both an adjacent idler and an adjacent roller assembly in a load sharing manner.</p> |
