PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture a stator by punching a steel strip in the prescribed shape, spirally twisting the strip by continuous cold rolling and then pressing the strip. CONSTITUTION:Grooved notches 3a are formed at one side and heat radiating fin projections 4a are formed at the other side of a steel strip 2 at an equal interval, the strip is spirally twisted by continuous cold rolling and cut in the prescribed length. Then, the cut spiral strip 5 is axially pressed and welded at the outer periphery in the state spirally twisted intimately in contact. Thus, after pressing, the strip does not require secondary machining, and the manufacture can be accordingly simplified, and the sectional shape of the strip is spirally superposed. In this manner, the magnetic characteristics similar to the stator of axially superposed and punched type from the strip can be provided. |
