A device for transporting a surfboard on the roof of a vehicle comprised of a unit that, when viewed in a cross section, is mainly triangular (1). Designed to be placed on the roof rack of a vehicle (3) with the surfboard in place (2). The unit (1) serves partly to fix the surfboard to the roof rack using the attached belt (5) and partly in order to eliminate the aerodynamic lift on the car which the wind speed would otherwise have produced. The unit's (1) upper surface (10) is designed for this purpose (in the direction from front to back), diagonally upward and is slightly concave. Thus the air current is deflected and the aerodynamic lift is counteracted. The unit (1) is also hollow and shows an internal instrument for fixing the front end of the surfboard's bar (6).<IMAGE> |
