<p>PURPOSE:To increase the resolution for the same image pickup section, by fitting a substance with a prescribed amount of deformation, applying a voltage to it, changing the angle of incident light to a transparent, substance layer and converting the incident light path of the input light to the image pickup section. CONSTITUTION:Fig. (a) shows the case not tilting the transparent substance 4, incident light beams a1, b1, c1 and d1 are incident to photodetection sections 6a, 6b, 6c, and 6d, but incident light beams a2, b2, c2 and d2 are incident to a transfer section except the photodetection section. Thus, the incident light beams are separated as a1, a2, b1, b2- but the processing is impossible because of a limit of the forming density of the photodection section of the image pickup section. The incident light path is shifted by tilting the transparent substance 4 to a suitable angle as shown in Fig. (b) and the light beams a2, b2 and c2 are made incident to the photodetection section of 6b, 6c, 6d respectively. To an object slower in the mobile speed in comparison with the shutter speed like this, the object is image picked up with the transparent substance 4 at the normal state, then with it tilted up and down and further with it tilted left and right, allowing to increase the resolution to four times.</p> |
