PURPOSE:To increase the improved strength and supporting force of the ground as well as reduce the cost of construction by a deep-layer mixing treatment method in which soft ground soil to be improved is molded into a hollow conical trapezoid form. CONSTITUTION:An improved ground 11 of a hollow conical trapezoid form is constructed in a soft ground 12 above a good ground 13 by a deep-layer mixing treatment method in which a improving agent is mixed and kneaded with the soil of ground 12 to harden the ground 12. In the case, when a structure is placed on the ground 11, unimproved soil 14 is confined between the structure and the bottom to provide a resistance to horizontal loads for the unimproved soil 14. Since the ground 11 has a hollow trapezoidal form and the resistance to horizontal load has no directivity, uniform ground resistance effects cab be exhibited even in every direction to the horizontal loads of wind, tidal waves, etc., having uncertain acting directions. |
