PURPOSE:To check optional devices to be checked simultaneously with an optional operator console, by connecting plural peripheral devices through a CPU by lines. CONSTITUTION:In case that the operator checks a device 7' to be checked with an operator console 6, he instructs a check controller 5 through the keyboard of the console to transmit a control instruction for the start of the check of the device 7' to a central subsystem 1. Then, the controller 5 sends the control instruction to a CPU 2 through a controller 4 and a communication line 9. The CPU 2 receives this control instruction and sends it to a device 5' through a communication controller 3 and a line 9' to perform the check of the device 7'; and after the check is terminated, the check result is sent to the CPU 2. The CPU 2 receives this result and supplies it to the controller 5 through the line 9. The controller 5 edits the check result and displays it on the console 6. |
