PURPOSE:To accelerate the reduction of noise by a method in which an enclosed engine chamber having a suction port with a sound absorptive blade is set, a maffler is housed in a sound-proof chamber provided on the enclosed engine chamber, and an exhaust port having a sound absorptive blade on its rear side is also provided. CONSTITUTION:An enclosed structure of engine chamber 2 having an air suction port 3 with a sound absorptive blade 4 is set, a muffler 10 is housed in a sound proof chamber 8 having a sound absorptive blade on the inlet, and an exhaust port 33 having an exhaust port 22 on the side and a sound absorptive blade 34 on the rear is provided. Cooling air introduced from an air inlet port 3 is passed through the sound absorptive blade 4, by which the noise is absorbed, and then sent to the engine side and the sound proof chamber 8 by means of a cooling fan 6. The cooling air, after the engine chamber 2 and the muffler 10 are cooled, is discharged from the exhaust ports 33 and 22 to the open air. Thus, the releasing of the noise of the engine to the outside of the chamber can be exactly prevented. |
