The present invention relates to a ladder whose rungs are designed with pins at the rung ends, which pins are mounted in corresponding recesses in the side pieces of the ladder, and the plane surface areas remaining outside the pins on the end surfaces of the rungs are then pressed by bolt connections against the side pieces so that the ladder forms a rigid unit. Moreover, the recesses in the side pieces ensure that the bending strength of the side pieces on each rung is practically unaffected. Likewise, the possibility is afforded that the side pieces and rungs can be easily fitted together to form a ladder after these have been purchased by the customer, by which means these parts are easier to transport than a finished ladder, and a ladder can thus be obtained at less cost. <IMAGE> |
