PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration in the vertical resolution, by attenuating and subtracting the picture element data of two adjacent scanning lines to the digital video signal of the 3rd field and reproducing the data into the digital video signal of the beginning 1st field. CONSTITUTION:To suppress the deterioration in the vertical resolution of a field picture taking the reproduction of a digital signal reproducer having a field memory only and the reproduction of the field picture with the fast feed reproduction into consideration, the digital video signal of one field is attenuated and mixed to the digital video signal of the other field as shown is Equations and the result is recorded as the digital video signal of the other field. The mixing processing as shown in Equations is done in memories 9, 10 and 11, the picture element data from the main memory of the scanning line to be mixed in an auxiliary memory is stored, it is read out sequentially, operated at an operation circuit and stored in the main memory again, allowing to attain the mixing processing. |
