PURPOSE:To make alignment easy by making an eyepiece lens movable in the optical axis direction with respect to a focal plate, and making the same movable with respect to an objective lens up to the position where the focus of the eyepiece lens coincides nearly with the position conjugate with a reflection member to be examined. CONSTITUTION:An eyepiece lens 5 is movable in the optical axis direction with respect to a focal mirror 4. Said lens 5 is also movable with respect to an objective lens 2 up to the position where the focus of the lens 5 coincides nearly with the position conjugate with a mirror 1 to be examined as a reflection member to be examined. The lens 5 is moved to the positions of distances D1 and D2 from the mirror 4 and the operations in the 1st and the 2nd stages are accomplished, whereby the autocollimator is aligned quickly and securely. |
