PURPOSE:To reproduce a data signal and a video signal while keeping the relation of time at recording, by recording PCM data and video signals on the same track. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal is eliminated from the video signal from a camera 1 at a gate circuit 2 at each horizontal synchronizing period of integer numbers. Digitized input signals from input terminals A1,-An are pulse-code- modulated at an encoder 7 for a period only when the picture signal is eliminated, and a modified video signal where the picture signal and the PCM signal exist alternately is obtained from an adder 8. The signal is recorded on a tape 6 after frequency modulation. The video signal only is extracted at reproduction to form a consecutive signal by interpolating the video signals delayed before during the PCM signal reproducing period where the video signal is missing, and the PCM signal is extracted independently, allowing to reproduce both signals while keeping the relation of time at the recording. |
