PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow velocity measuring element, a flow velocity measuring device, a liquid-liquid extractor and a liquid-liquid extraction method capable of detecting the velocity of a fluid with high accuracy, controlling the speed of the fluid extremely low in the concentration of a soluble component to effectively perform liquid-liquid extraction, and increasing an analyzing speed. SOLUTION: A distortion member 11 using a magnetostriction material is provided to be brought into contact with a fluid, and the degree of distortion of the distortion member 11 distorted corresponding to the velocity of the fluid is detected as impedance to obtain a value indicating the velocity of the fluid. By this constitution, the velocity of the fluid is measured with high accuracy by the liquid-liquid extractor utilizing a micro fluid system, the velocity of the fluid is controlled on the basis of the measured velocity, and liquid-liquid extraction is effectively performed by controlling the velocity of the fluid.
