PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole inspection apparatus which prevents decision only by the manual operation of an operator and which is favorable for suppressing the dispersion of an inspection result. SOLUTION: The hole inspection apparatus is provided with a fixation part, a movable base 4 which is installed at the fixation part so as to be movable and which can be advanced and retreated at least with reference to an inspection object 1, a three-dimensional rocking part 7 which comprises an insertion detection body 73 inserted into a hole 10 in the inspection object 1, a bearing part 8 which is interposed between the rocking part 7 and the movable base 4 and which holds the rocking part 7 at the movable base 4 so as to be capable of being rocked three-dimensionally together with the detection body 73, a rocking detection part 9 which detects the degree of the rocking of the rocking part 7 in a state that the detection body 73 in the rocking part 7 is inserted into the hole 10 in the inspection object 1 and a hole-quality decision means which decides the quality of the inspection object 1 on the basis of a result detected by the detection part 9.
