<p>PURPOSE:To enhance magnetic characteristics and wear resistance and to provide long-term shelf stability, by incorporating a specified compound into the magnetic recording layer on the surface of the support. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by a general formula I is incorporated into a magnetic recording layer on the surface of a support. In the formula, R is optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl or aryl, and each R' is H or alkyl, yet all of four R's are not H.</p> |
