PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-recording system, capable of registering reservation information, which relates to reservation programs for image recording inputted to a digital TV broadcasting receiver, to a VCR side. SOLUTION: In an image-recording system consisting of a digital TV broadcasting receiver 10 and a VCR 20, a control part 10a of the receiver 10 is connected to a control part 20a of the VCR 20 with a communication cable, and the receiver 10 comprises a means for specifying the reservation programs by a user and a means for transmitting the reservation information specified by the user to the VCR 20, which has a means of registering the information transmitted from the receiver 10.
