PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling operation and to realize cost reduction, by forming an introduction groove in a bottom wall at one end of a corotron shield and holding grooves in both side walls, providing a rail guide which engages a corotron rail to the bottom part of a corotron end block, and providing projections for locking at both side parts. CONSTITUTION:A corotron shield part 6 is channel-shaped; the introduction groove 7 in the bottom wall where the rail guide 12 of the corotron end block 10 is inserted and the holding grooves 8 in both side walls where the projections for locking 14 of the corotron end block 10 are fitted are formed at one end, and a connection terminal 9 nearly in an L shape is fitted at the other end. This connection terminal is connected to a high voltage power source when this corona discharger is attached to the corotron rail. This constitution permits assembly without using any fixture such as a set screw, so the number of assembling processes is decreased, which contributes to the cost reduction. |
