PURPOSE:To obtain a connector capable of dealing with variation in the external diameter of a wire bundled body having a different diameter by reducing the diameter of an outer tube containing wire for optical communication in diameter locally with die rollers. CONSTITUTION:A connector consists of the outer tube 1 with a thickness 13 which has a small-diameter part 11 as a front end and a large-diameter part 12 as a rear end and the wire 2 for optical communication is contained therein from an insertion opening 3. The small-diameter part 11 is formed by being reduced in diameter locally with die rollers, etc. Thus, the connector capable of dealing with variation in the external diameter of the wire bundled body 2 having a different diameter is obtained. |
