PURPOSE:To reduce loading labor for packs of sheets of paper such as news- paper, by using a pusher to sequentially thrust the packs of sheets of paper onto racks provided in plural rows at plural levels and by using a crane or the like so that a rack frame bearing the packs of sheets of paper is loaded into a truck. CONSTITUTION:A rack frame 6 is put on a conveyor 8 on a table lifter 7 by a crane 5 and positioned. A pack of sheets of paper 11 brought out on a conveyor 19 is positioned by a stopper 12. After that, the pack of sheets of paper is thrusted into the rack frame 6 by a pusher 14 so that the pack is put on the rack in the first row at the first level. Since rails 16 are provided at the bottom of each section 15 of the rack frame 6, the pack of sheets of paper 11 can easily slide therein. The packs of sheets of paper 11 are carried out one by one from a stand-by position on the conveyor 19. After the packs are pushed into the rack sections 15 in the first row at the first level, the rack frame is moved forth by one row by the conveyor 8. After the packs are pushed into the rack sections 15 in all the rows at the first level, the lifter 7 is moved down by one level. Finally, the rack frame 6 is loaded into a truck 18 by the crane 5. |
