PURPOSE:To simplify time and time lag correction by providing a counter for counting time during the halting of a pointer and a means of compensating for the step motor stoppage time with a quick advance action based on counts thereof. CONSTITUTION:A battery 22 provides a power source for an electronic circuit 21 while a quartz vibrator 23 serves as time standard source and a variable condenser 24 adjusts the advance or the lag of time. A step motor 25 rotates by 180 deg. per sec by a drive signal from the electronic circuit 21. The rotation is transmitted to a gear 31 via a gear 30 to drive a second hand 32. As a crown 33 is pulled, a lever 35 works to correct time locking a rotor 29. The time is counted to feed counts thereof to the step motor 25 whereby the time of halting thereof is compensated for with a quick advance action. |
