PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter supporting tool enabling a gutter supporting tool body to be slid smoothly forward and backward. SOLUTION: The rain gutter supporting tool is constituted by coupling a mounting rod 1 fixed to the edge of eaves and the like, the gutter supporting tool body 2 equipped with a gutter latching part 12 for supporting a rain gutter T, and an elastically urged lock spring 3. In the supporting tool, the elastic force of the lock spring 3 makes the body 2 brought into press-contact with the mounting rod 1 and fixed to the mounting rod 1, for the purpose of regulating the slide of the body 2. A long hole 32 is formed in either of the mounting rod 1 and the body 2, and the lock spring 3 is provided with a raised guide 43 fitted constantly into the long hole 32.
