PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. which has excellent workability, gives cured articles having excellent heat resistance, etc., and is suitable for use in the production of laminated sheets, etc., by mixing a thermosetting resin compsn. contg. a polyfunctional cyanic ester with a specified epoxy resin- modified butadiene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin compsn. contg. a polyfunctional cyanic ester (prepolymer) having cyanato groups or a prepolymer of a cyanic ester with an amine as essential ingredients is prepd. as a component A. Separately, a butadiene/arom. vinyl compd. copolymer which has carboxyl groups and a m.p. of not lower than 10 deg.C and wherein at least 50% of butadiene units in the polymer chain are composed of 1,2-bonded butadiene units is modified with a polyfunctional epoxy resin to prepare an epoxy resin-modified butadiene copolymer (component B) having a m.p. of not lower than 10 deg.C and an epoxy equivalent of 300-8,000. The component A is mixed with the component B to obtain the titled resin compsn. |
