PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. having excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics and platability and suitable for use as materials to be plated, such as electrical and electronic components, mechanical parts, automobile parts, etc., consisting of a polyether imide, potassium titanate fiber and an alkaline earth metal carbonate. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyether imide (A) of formula I is melt-kneaded with 2-60pts.wt. potassium titanate fiber (B) of formula II, such as ceramic whisker, etc., and 2-30pts.wt. alkaline earth metal carbonate (C) such as CaCO3 and/or CaMg(CO3)2. |
