Centre punch tool for the assembly of double-lobed pipe clamps

The centre punch tool for the assembly of pipes by means of double-lobed pipe clamps permits accurate locating of the dowel holes to be drilled for attaching the pipe clamps. The tool consists of a centre part with transverse part and has a recess of the size of the pipe diameter, as well as two centre punches which are arranged at an angle of 90 DEG to the centre axis of the recess and thus of the pipe to be laid. The centre punches are at a distance from one another which corresponds to the hole spacing of the pipe clamp. The device is pushed with its recess over the pipe, in the course of which the centre punches touch the wall or ceiling surface. By a light blow on the handle of the centre punch tool, the centre punches mark the holes to be drilled, so that the drilling machine can be accurately positioned.
