The invention relates to a compost preparation machine which, by means of various built-in tools, comminutes and prepares plant remains and waste from horticulture and which, by means of comminuting and mixing earth and plant remains, brings about more rapid decomposition of the compost. As a result of various built-in tools, rearrangement or exchange of the tools is not necessary. By means of special shaping of the tools, the required power has been lowered considerably. The machine is thus particularly suitable for use in amateur operations.
