A repeat dispenser comprises a tubular main body (10), an actuating part (20) which is arranged so as to be displaceable in the main body and whose upper end projects from the upper end of the main body and at that point is provided with a push button, a spring for prestressing the actuating part in an upward direction, a spring holder (50) which is arranged so as to be displaceable in the main body and usually rests against the lower end of the actuating part in order to transmit the prestressing force of the spring to the actuating part, a stop which is provided on the inside surface of the main body in order to form a rest for the spring holder in the non-actuated state of the dispenser, a claw (53) which is pivotably connected to the spring holder, a claw spring for prestressing the claw in the direction radially outwards, a rack shaft (45) which is constructed on the inside surface of the main body with a multiplicity of rack teeth (46) for engagement with the said claw, a device for preventing the engagement of the claw with the rack shaft when the spring holder rests against the stop, a suction knob which is connected to the rack shaft and is displaceable along a longitudinal recess of the main body, and a piston-cylinder device (70) which is detachably connected to the main body and whose piston (73) is connected to the lower end of the rack shaft (45). <IMAGE>
