PURPOSE:To enlarge the degree of freedom to select the structure of a combustion chamber and aheat source to be employed, by adopting an indirect combustion system by using a loop type heat transmission device. CONSTITUTION:A loop tube 5 is formed by a rising tube 1 provided with a heating member 6, a lowering tube 2 provided with a cooling member 7, and communication tubes 3 and 4, and a noncondensable inactive gas is enclosed therein. With a heat given by an arbitrary heat source in the heating member 6, an enclosed heat medium circulates in the loop tube 5 in the direction of an arrow, absorbing the heat and rising in the rising tube 1, and emitting the heat in the cooling member 7 and lowering in the lowering tube 2. The heat emitted in the cooling member 7 by the heat medium is given to an operating gas in a Stirling engine. The pressure inside the loop tube 5 is regulated to be at a constant level by the quantity of a noncondensable gas filled up in an expansion tank 8. |
