PURPOSE:To contrive the weight saving and the compactness of the pump of the titled engine by a method wherein a cooling water circulating pump is formed by the impeller made of sheet metal, and an inlet pipe part and an outlet pipe part are overlapped in two stages. CONSTITUTION:A cooling water circulating pump 1 contains a impeller 3 made of sheet metal inside of a blade chamber 2. Said impeller 3 is protatably supported by a cylinder bearing part 9 inside of a housing 7 and its one end is detachably attached to the inner end of a rotating shaft 10 protruded from its end part. A suction chamber 17 having slightly smaller diameter than the outer diameter of said impeller 3 is concentrically formed with said rotating shaft 10 at the front of said blade chamber 2. Said suction chamber 17 is opened to said blade chamber 2 toward the blade piece 13 of said impeller 3. An inlet pipe part 4 communicated with said suction chamber 17 and a outlet pipe part 5 communicated with said blade chamber 2 are formed in two stages overlapping structure divided by a interstructure 6. |
