PURPOSE:To improve the machining accuracy of the surface of a valve seat, by eliminating the generation of rolling resulting from centrifugal force on a guide bar and a cutter holder at the time of machining. CONSTITUTION:Guide bars 4 at both side parts of a cutter holder 3 are supported by a holding component 20 and a valve guide 102 respectively and revolve the cutter holder 3 directly. Generation of rolling, therefore, on a guide bar and a cutter holder is prevented and a rear end collar part 23 of a holding part is locked so that it is pinched by a forward operating cylinder 36 and a rearward operating cylinder 37 and it is not vibrated vertically through an application of reaction force to a cutter 9 at the time of machining. |
