PURPOSE:To advance a fuel injection timing in angles, by arranging such that an electromagnetic valve provided in a by-pass passage communicating the both sides of a fuel injection timing control plunger may be closed at the time of engine being cooled. CONSTITUTION:A fuel pressure acts on a top suction 1A of a plunger 1, whereas a basement thereof receives a suction pressure of a low pressure fuel pump. An electromagnetic valve 3 is provided in a by-pass passage 21 communicating the both sides of the plunger 1. At the time of an engine being cooled, the electromagnetic valve 3 is closed and therefore the low pressure fuel pump has its delivery pressure imparted only to the top portion 1A side for causing the plunger 1 to shift in the left direction in opposition against a spring 1D, and thereby advancing a fuel injection timing in angles. While the engine runs as usual, the electromagnetic valve 3 is opened for imparting the delivery pressure also to the basepart 1C side in response to a passage resistance of an orifice 21A with a result that the plunger shifts in the right and left directions respectively at a low and high speed operations. |
