<p>The transmission may be used to drive a variable stroke dosing pump (7a). A double link (5a,5b) is hinged to the piston rod (7) at a given point (6). Each end of the link is slotted and engages on a spigot (1a,b) of a drive wheel (14,15) respectively. Both drive wheels are driven at the same uniform speed, by a common drive (13). The stroke of the piston of the dosing pump is adjustable between zero and twice the radius of the pitch circle of the spigots by adjustment of the differential angular displacement of the two drive wheels. This adjustment is made by rotation of the worm drive (18).</p> |
