PURPOSE:To maintain favorably tight sealing in axial direction with a simple construction by positioning a plate shaped body between the lap of a scroll member and the end plate of another scroll member. CONSTITUTION:A scroll shaped through-hole 7 is provided on a plate-shaped body 6. Between the tip end of the lap 2b of a fixed scroll member 2 and the end plate 1a of a rotary scroll member 1 and between the tip end of the lap 1b of the rotary scroll member 1 and the end plate 2a of the fixed scroll member 2 plate-shaped bodies 6 are respectively placed movably. With this arrangement the tip end faces of the laps 1b and 2b of the scroll members 1 and 2 lie opposite to the plate-shaped bodies 6, and since this plate-shaped body 6 is movable axially (in the direction of height of the lap), axial tight sealing can be favorably maintained with a simple construction. |
