<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a titled cord under high twisting productivity and operation stability, by placing in series a set of rotary plates consisting of two pairs so that each pair of rotary plates is only rotated in the same direction, and rotating each pair in the whole set in reverse to each other. CONSTITUTION:Four steel wires fed out of a steel wire feed drum 21 are bundled at a point A, and twisting is given by the number of revolutions of a rotary plate 4. Subsequently, they are guided to a point B along steel wire guide bodies 8, 9 and 11, and the number of revolutions or a rotary plate 5 is added. Also, twisting is given to a steel wire 28 by a rotary plate 6 at a point C, and subsequently, the number of revolutions of a rotary plate 7 is added at the point of C. Thereafter, the steel wire 28 is wound to a winding drum 31 through a traction roll 29 and a taverser 30. In this regard, as for the plates 4, 5 and the plates 6, 7, the respective directions are reversed by an inverting gear box 26, and they are driven by one driving motor 27. According to this method, the linear velocity can be increased, and the productivity is raised.</p> |
