The invention relates to a casement for window constructions, having a continuous guide chamber for espagnolettes guided in the frame legs, the espagnolettes being connected to one another in the frame corner regions by means of spring bands, and the spring bands being deflected by means of guide pieces inserted into the frame corner regions. The guide pieces each consist of a cam segment having, on the one hand, an angular indentation for attachment onto the inner frame corner of adjacent frame legs and, on the other hand, a guide track in the form of an arc of a circle for the respective spring band, and of a corner angle covering the outer frame corner and having an inner guide face in the form of an arc of a circle which is arranged at a predetermined distance from the guide track of the cam segment and which forms with the guide track a guide channel for the deflected spring band. The guide pieces are thus characterised by a design which is especially simple in terms of production and assembly. <IMAGE>
