ULTRASONIC WELDING METHOD OF DIELECTRIC FILMS

PURPOSE:To prevent an offset from occurring on welded surfaces and to integrate them with each other in a good smoothness by a method wherein denatured polyester is put between overlapped polyester films and further adhesive tape is stuck on the backside to carry out ultrasonic welding. CONSTITUTION:A denatured polyester 4 is put between overlapped part of dielectric films where a polyester film 3 is considered to be a base film. Further, an adhesive tape 5 is stuck on the overlapped parts of the films 3 at the back. Then ultrasonic welding is performed to weld films on an excellent welded surface. Additionally, the thickness is desired to be 6-100mum. USE:Useful for belt-like recording medium in the transfer type.
