PURPOSE:To detect temperature of a food, by using a material which varies its color dependent on temperature, and measuring a change in color by means of a color sensor. CONSTITUTION:Since the inside of a heating chamber is illuminated by a light source, a change in color of a temperature indicating material 6 is detected by a color sensor 9. Or a light generated by a light source 7 for detecting a change in color is collected by a ray sensor 9 to illuminate the temperature indicating material 6. The color sensor 9 outputs a current corresponding to the wavelength of the inputted light, and thereby the color of the temperature indicating material 6 is detected as a change in current. A current detected by the color sensor 9 is amplified by an electronic circuit 10, the current is converted into a digital value by an A/D converter 1, and the digital value is read into a microcomputer 12 which decides temperature of a container. Through control of an output from a relay output terminal 13, a primary side of a transformer 12a in an electronic oven circuit is turned ON and OFF to control oscillation of a magnetron 1 connected to the secondary side of the transformer 12a. |
