PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a sufficient measure against the global warming effect by not using SD6 gas in the insulating gases of gas-insulated winding equipment and, in addition, to prevent the lowering of the dielectric breakdown voltages of the insulating gases caused by the diffusion of electrons generated by microdischarge which occurs in wedge-shaped gaps existing between the contacting sections, etc., of insulating members in the atmospheres of the insulating of the insulating gases. SOLUTION: The gas-insulated wiring equipment as the wedge-shaped gaps G between the contacting sections of the insulating members (an electric field shield 14 and a coil retainer 15) in the atmospheres of the insulating gases 12 and 17 or between the contacting sections of charging-section conductors and the insulating members in the atmospheres of the gases 12 and 17. The insulating gases 12 and 17 are composed of mixed gases of N2 gas and electrically negative gases excluding the SF6 gas.
