The test probe usable in chemical or biological reactors is designed to be mounted in normal supports of small size. The probe has an elongate front portion comprising a housing (5) with a sealing inner surface inside the reactor. In use, the measuring probe (12) or the sample taking device of the said front portion is immersed in the culture medium. In a retraction position, the inside of the housing (5) is sealed by means of cylindrical closure provided with an O-ring (16). The inside of the housing (5) may, through two conduits (23, 24) provided for the supply of sterilized steam, liquid or gas, be cleaned, respectively emptied. Displacement of the probe requires only an axial motion. The axis of the test probe is secured in the two above mentioned positions by means of a screw (26) which is engaged in two grooves (25, 28). |
