A combined toothpaste dispenser and toothbrush device comprising an elongate container (10) for receiving or containing toothpaste and forming a handle member, a toothbrush member (11) with bristles (13) connected and preferably pivotably or even slidably connected to said container, ducting means (31, 32, 33) leading or capable of leading from the container (10), and preferably through the pivot interconnection region (27), when provided, to the bristles (13) of said toothbrush member (11), and means (18) for enabling paste to be urged through said ducting means to said bristles; said toothbrush member (11) being displaceable relative to said elongate container (10) so that in an inoperative position the brush member (11) is juxtaposed or lies along said container (10) whilst in the operative position the brush member extends from the end of said container and away therefrom to permit teeth-cleaning operations to be effected. The invention also relates to a specific step-wise operating displacing means for displacing th paste suitable for use in any toothbrush of this type, and also to various novel paste duct closure means. |
